Had a nail in my tire last week and a let a tire shop fix it with a squiggly. I don't think they bothered ruffing up the hole. Never again unless it's an internal patch is someone else going to repair my tire. it let go a highway exit ramp highway and deflated . A fun 5 seconds at 30 mph. no damage done to my or my bike. Oh well at least it wasn't at 70 miles an hour which is what I was doing 30 seconds before. I Fixed it at the side of the road and I ll get a new tire asp.

that's why you only use a worm plug to get you somewhere to get a new tire.

You're using a preventative sealant like tire goop right? That stuff is a must buy.

nope that stuff is shit on a stick. good way to end up not being able to repair a tire because it prevents a internal patch from sealing up. It does work but you can't repair a tire after using slime. Any shop that see that in a tire is going to ether say 30 buck more or sorry you re going to have to buy a tire due to slime. You could use gas to get the slime off but that isn't all that smart.

Never had a tire plug let loose in my life, the hole must have been a very big one or maybe a slice which a plug won't fix.
