Thought the Scooterati here would like to see these beauties.
Briton is a local company and Acme hauled some of his stuff to Barber and back. It's the first time I'd seen them in person so I snapped some pics.
For contrast, a shot with a CB350 race bike.
They're very neat in person. The white one is a 70cc and the gray one is a 90 maybe? I forget.

Yeah, they're both 'peds.
The white one will do about 70mph.

OMG it's in Asheville.

That's a 3 hour ride from here.

My feelings exactly. When planning trips the mid-south, I alternately plan to get to Asheville and to avoid it, lusting to see the Bees in person and afraid that I'll order one if I do.

These things somehow combine Old School Brit/cafe' design appeal and Kitted-Moped Juju in the same package - almost irresistably cool...

Moped Army - the shizz right there is worse then heroin. The astonishing and fantastic creations some of those peeps have made out of Seventies frames, parts, chunks...the mini-cafe' racers, dropped bars, curvy stingers...

A modded-out Tomos ST was one of the little bikes sold off when we determined to do the 12-step thing and reduce the bike-count to a reasonable and affordable number. We'd had eleven since May, '08; at one point, six simultaneously...Suzuki, Honda, Vespa, Lifan, Yamaha...no hope, there is no hope...
