[quote=mymindsok]well, heres one for ya...!
This discussion drove me out the the garage where I looked for and found my old luggage key ring and my keys turned out to be Excelsior #151s and a K11 Did BMW really use Excelsior keys?[/quote Nope, not on the Krausers like mine....maybe the later ones but I was under the impression they all used Sudhaus keys.

Many years ago I got Krauser replacement locks and keys from Bob's BMW in Jessup MD. Looking at the keyring I have the S150 (latch for locking the bag) and the S324 (latch to hold the bag to the luggage rack).

Bob's BMW has a few 150s (9) and 324s (2) left. I bought 2 of each today for $18 per key. The counts there are what they have left after my purchase.
They bought out all of the ones they could find from some guy, so there is no future shipment in the works at this time. Get on it now if you need'em. |

A cache of 5 Sudhaus S150 keys just popped up on eBay. I found them while looking for keys to match my Krausers (if anyone has any leads on S324 keys, let me know).
At $12.99+$2.50 shipping, they're not much of a savings on buying them directly from Krauser, but at least you don't have to put $32 cash in an envelope and send it to Germany to get them. Mods, can this thread be moved to the Airheads sub-forum? I don't recognize the people here, and there are too many strange and frightening words that I don't understand like "Zundapp" and "Guzzi". I'm scared. |

You think that's scary? My Krausers were on a Yamaha XV920, the entire bundle now in the capable hands of another inmate.
