Offroad adaptations
Anyone offering offroad gear for the Multi? Crashbars, alum panniers, skid plate, 19" (or 21") front wheel, narrower rear rim to fit knobbies? Anyone seeing the possibility of adapting the wire wheel rims off a sport classic, longer forks off an elefant?
Such a machine might be the only thing that would pry my 990 from my fingers when it wears out? ![]() Edit: Just found Altrider which has come to the party for protection - crashbars, bashplate, rack

Can't picture the multi with Jesse's or touratech bags. It just ain't a GS (not ugly enough for those bags) and never will be!!!!!

This MS really looks great and i would love to have a ride on it. But even if i got to ride it, I couldn´t afford it. I´m really envy about the power and maybe its a bit more comfy for the long "northcape" rides. What i don´t like is all the electronics, maybe i´m wrong, but i se it as a fault at +50kkm.
Even if i got the money i would like to have the longer suspension as the KTM´s. In the winter i´m going to rebuild my 950 advs. In the hunt for the more power at long distance rides i´m going to put the RC8R engine in. It fits perfect at frame and swingarm. Only new enginemounts at front have to be made. That and a lot other customized stuff would make this a "modern" MS hunter ;-) No flaming, I realy like the MS but i´ll go with the more offroad abilities. Best regards Mikael |

Was ISAF 6 aug 08 and will be ISAF 12 aug 2011. Had a lot of good times with the Gunlinedudes at FOB Armadillo and the 81mm mortarcrews at FOB Keenan. All British ofcourse.
Divorced... No house...living at the Base. Paid a bit better than the lousy salary Brits get. No girlfriend. Bikes and cars a are taxed 180% in Denmark. If MS cost 10.000£ the "licenseplate" would cost 18.000£ + the MS price = 28.000£
