Look what the truck dumped off last week to keep my MM company!
2009 model with 724 miles on the clock. The price was right! If I could post a FRIGGIN PHOTO, you'd see a HP2 Sport parked along side the MM! I'm trying to post a 64k photo, and it says I've exceeded my quota by like 200+kb. I deleted 16 out of 20 other photos I had posted. Geeze!

How much fuel do you put in?
So I went to fill my MM up for the 1st time with the light on and the countdown mileage @ 12 to go. Only could get in 2.7 gallons. I did as many have suggested and drilled the filler neck about 3/4 in from the top. I am wondering if most people fill their tanks to the drilled holes? I did not do that, just filled to the normal level. If you do fill to the holes, does fuel come out the vent?

Keep filling to the holes, there is alot more room there. As long as you are riding the bike for a few miles after, you will have no problem with fuel venting out, but I wouldn't fill up then park it. Especially if it will be in the sun or a warm place.

Hi Guys,
I am not new in the forum, took me some time to read all the 105 pages and I enjoyed it and now I think I can contribute. I have a MM 2008 and I have riden it for 3000 miles now and I have done the Mtec conversion to add the HP2 Sport spoiler. Other than that bike is stock. I want to say that I really like this bike, My other bike is a K1200R and even they have same cc they are not comparable. Does anyone else have the same bike combo? Mike (from Houston TX) |

Good to hear, Jonas! I thought I'd heard after your engine incident you had sold yours. Maybe that was someone else. Either way, good to hear you're still part of the fold. Sorry for my error.

Very cool, Marc, congratulations! If the economy wasn't so bad I'd be hunting for an E & and S to keep my MM company.
