Installed Pelican 1520's with Happy Trails mounting pucks and finished with new FMF Q4's on my new to me 06 950 ADV. The FMF's seem to have improved the throttle response upwards of 3500 rpm and I can at least hear the motor now

Rode the 950 to work. Smiled the whole way there and back.

Rode the 950 around the block. Worked better than ever. Grabby clutch when cold gone. No leaks. No drama.
Gonna ride it to work. 30 degrees and a chance of snow showers. |

Rode my KTM (actually all 3) today (sorry for all those snow bound - I used to live in snow country, NE, IN, OH, OK - winter is the best time to ride in TX).

Oh, picked up some 6061 so I can beef up the rear subframe on my SE today, since I sure as hell ain't riding it due to this mini ice age here in the PNW.

$75 Non-S Center Stand (complete and in great shape) from an inmate:
![]() Thick mild steel bushings (snug fit) ![]() 1" .90 tubing cut to 33mm is a .05" larger than the 24mm tubing used with the center stand. No biggie. Dry fit: ![]() Drilled 5/16" rosette weld holes in the center stand and filler tube so I could weld the bushing inserts in place for strength, in addition to welding the circumference of the butt joints. Welded, primed and painted. Not my best work (in fact it looks like shite), but strong, and works perfect. ![]() Already had lots of tube and bushings, so only out $75. Sure beats $350.
