The Tenere looks to improve upon the Vee in about every measurable way, it should be a much nicer bike all the way around....but then it's also more expensive with a lot more stuff to go wrong. So, who knows how it'll shake out. The Vee is a really good bike, but it could be improved (ABS, better clutch, better aerodynamics). On the good side, you can buy 'em used for a song, and they're reliable and the aftermarket takes care of anything you need.

Don't worry, my TTR is staying put. If I do anything, I may buy a 2nd one (I've been looking). It's not fast where it's wide open, but it's great in the woods and that's where I seem to be having the most fun. It's been a cheap bike to own, so I'm gonna see if I can't just stay on it or buy another.
