you mean like dropping mentos into diet soda, blasting or what these guys do?



do i get to remove the seat and gas tank and they can do it. or does the thing have to be stripped down and given to them in pieces?

once it is blasted what stops it from happening again?

+10 Paint it black, but use a brush and don't remove anything.

Looks like you are into a total tear down and getting into some serious media blasting. As all the parts are fairly small. get yourself a blasting cabinet from Harbour freight and a big compressor. The cost of having it all blasted will be more than just doing it yourself.

I just did this today just to try the stuff I bought last week.

Rain, snow and salt from the last couple of weeks ruined the brakeplate of my SuperElastik sidecarwheel.



Sprayed it with Race Glaze Alubright Metal Deoxidiser and briefly scrubbed it with a brush:



Repeated spraying and brushing it for a second time, rinsed it with hot water and dried with airhose:



Cap on the right was just as bad, problem with the brakeplate is that it's got a rough surface.
This is the result of only a couple of minutes.

After this I sprayed it with Race Glaze Jet Laq Non-Paint Lacquer for protection. It's drying as I type this, putting it back on tomorrow and hope for more snow and salt to test it

I can do this piece by piece but with a good brush and with some elbowgrease I think you can get your engine back to a better looking state. Obviously not as good as taking it apart and have it sand/bead/pearl/glassblasted but hey it's a lot cheaper and less work
