hahaha AJ i hope i'm not one of those 4 ADVrs that you were talking about.
![]() i won't be racing (or riding) anytime soon. after having the doc cut my abdomen open about 12 inches vertically, it will be awhile before i swing my leg over the bike let alone race.

Mike, yes, i was in the hospital with a Crohn's Disease flare. my intestine was blocked AND had a hole(perforation). i've been blocked before(inflamation and ulcers), but the hole in the intestine is deadly. i was lucky to have gotten to the hospital when i did. the surgery is that they cut a vertical incision through my abdomen (stomach muscles) to open up the abdomen and remove the blocked intestine, and resection it. i'll try to get back on the bike in a few weeks, but as far as pushing it, it will be another month or so. BUT, i WILL race this season for sure. ASAP !!! ![]() now, back to eatpasta's thread....

So from this we can infer that the Catalina ankle's no longer the size of a Fairbanks-Morse piston?

If the earlier races this year are any indication you'll have a top ten no matter what. There were only 4 or 5 people in your class in Jackrabbits and Desert MC.

![]() im just going to have to say that its ligament damage and keep taking ibuprofen and using the tens unit and doing some physical therapy stuff, run on it when I can and hope for the best. If found that in the past, perseverance through exercise usually helps.... just as long as you're not damaging it more.

had an interesting day today.
I got a decent start (5th or so to the end of the bomb) but had a decent endo at the end of the bomb..... then about two miles later some guy jumped out in front of me and I went down, and by the time I got the bike started I was in dead last. I was feeling like crap but I just wicked it up and Scotty and I went along for awhile. Eventually I pulled away and managed to make it back to around 33rd OA..... Im VERY curious to see how I did in class. Scotty did incredibly on his first race on the actual pig - the 650L
