Just being my normal, happy, irritating self.

restaurant week is the end of the month

I will be travelling during restaurant week unfortunately. On the plus side that means I get to have an expenses paid restaurant week, and I believe I will be on a mission to find more Barbeque establishments in Texas.

I'd like some of any Q establishments I find to form part of my "chasing smoke" entry, which will be my first Team Strange event. I assume team strange stuff is basically open to anyone.

Well since I got the garage insulated and sheet rocked I've got a nice cozy place to do semi-heroic work on the scoots. The KLX has been the main target since I leave for Mexico in 8 days. I got new bars and hand guards installed with a new GPS mount and some electricity for the 60CSX. I got a slightly used one owner Acerbis tank to increase my range from minuscule to an estimated 150 miles to reserve. I cut a bit more than an inch out of the seat so my short leg can better reach the ground. Installed a shiny skid plate to fend off Mexican rocks. Then finally I spooned on a new set of Dunlop 606s. I still need to fab a small hook to attach the tanks panniers on one side and that should be it before we leave next Friday AM.

DON'T buy them. They don't fucking work. They are poorly moulded, have no steel support ring inside, and are shit in every possible sense that can be applied to fork seals. Not that it matters since you can't get them for your bike anyway, but I feel like ranting about their shitness. I assume you have checked all your fork bushings and so on for wear?
