Now that the garage is insulated the heater I've got is a bit of overkill. Once it's up to temp, 55˚ish even with a drafty garage door at the lowest setting I have to turn it off in about 45 minutes. Mine also come with a bunch of warnings about ventilation. I didn't read it all that's just for wimps

That's pretty good. Cheap and easy way to get heat into the garage enough to go and work in it. Very good.

The goal is a hang from the ceiling natural gas vented to the outside thermostatically controlled Craigslist $100 heater.

I think I'm going to do the ceiling heater in the shop, once that is built, with it's own propane tank next to the shop (I'm not on natural gas), but I think I'll just do the temporary heat in the garage. When the shop is built I don't plan to be out in the garage very often, so I don't want to put too much effort (or cash) into that.

I get by with some fuzzy mittens. If it's really cold I just shove the heat-gun down my pants. Roasty Toasty in no time.

Ooh, that's shiny!

Rick it looks like you gave that bike the carnuba and armor all treatment.

We'll see how long that lasts.

First thing I'm gonna do when we unload is lay it down and rub some dirt on it

It's kinda embarrassing.

My parents house, the house I grew up in, is less than a mile from that new FF on 35 - I think my dad is going to go broke there.

The first time I heard them talk about building that one was when I was about 16. Thats almost 20 years to finally build it

At least they did it right.

I haven't been to that one. It sounds like a place of wonder, that I must explore.

Well, if anyone wants to ride Hwy 13 in Eagan, there is one less critter around to get you.

I'm afraid that the resulting harvest was a bit too tenderized for use at the campfire, however.

Reminds me, need to head to down to El Loro for some carnitas.

Shitty about the deer / car. Trust you came out unscathed? You should head north for brunch sunday to commiserate.
