Yep. The wife said it went something like:

Deer.

Airbag in face.
Deer body under car.
Horn stuck on.
Stop car.

All in about an 1/8th of a second.

It does... in many ways.

It is adding likely-hood to a total... even though the only driveability issue (I think) is the crushed radiator.... how sad to think about totalling it. Sigh. We liked that little suv.

My wife was annoyed because she had freshly picked up dry cleaning in the car.... and now it is all full of airbag smoke. It really filled the cabin.

Even though she had bare arms, she did escape without any burns from the airbags... so that is good.

Still waiting on the estimate.
I wonder if that is a good sign, or a bad sign?

Doesn't look like there's any interest in the rugger, but that's no surprise. So I'm not getting any beer in, 'cos after the game I'm going to play with power tools, and soldering irons and stuff like that.

On the plus side, I just checked my propane tank gauge, and this house sucks rather less fuel than the old farmhouse used to, on account of the new house having insulation, and a lot less gaps.

And I went and stood in my shed. It was awesome. It'll be even more awesomer soon. I think April will be a month of quite good activity, shed construction wise.

So OK this gives us a week to prepare. If'n anyone wants to come over for breakfast NEXT weekend let me know. If there's interest I'll grill a breakfast, and we'll have bloodies and beer chasers. That way, if I'm still off about the game it won't matter because we'll have food.

Whew. I had considered making the trek, but I was woken up around five am by firefighters and had that craptastic on/off sleep afterwards for several hours. It appears some genius down the hall passed out with a pizza in the oven. No damage, just bad smells and loudness.

I may be up for it next week, I haven't watched rugby for a long time, but did quite a bit in university, had a couple of roommates who played and we even had a game for the playstation.
