sorry it has been a while, been really busy on my other bike.

since the last post, not much has changed. i took off the plastics, speedo, and other unnecessary gear. it still runs great, and wide open all the time.

i have also been through 3 rear tubes......i think i need a new tire, the sidewall is cracked on this one. kind of expensive for a free bike though.

went out the other day riding with the pooch. the wife was cool enough to take some shots.

don't worry he didn't get hurt
.....just scared.

just a sample

and lastly, the tank got a new color. now that i bleed orange, i figured it was ok to put katoom colors on the honda.

now i just gotta get that stinkin' back brake working. honestly, riding this thing is scarier than the 540.

hahahahahaha, the 80 lives again. was gonna go out on the ice the other day, but didn't see any vehicles out there, so i wussed out. so we played in the yard on the good ol' XL 80. front brake only, bald/semi flat front and rear tires, and will only run with the choke on full :) (i really just wanted to play around with the new gopro )

ps the wife wasn't too stoked on the yard

and does anybody know how to get the rear hub off? i feel like it should just pop off the wheel, but it feels like i am gonna break the thing. i wanna dig into that rear brake to make it work, but can't even get into it.

make sure the slide is not in backwards very common the cutaway goes toward the rear. adjust the valve clearance. I have done several that the vavlves have tightend up on.
