nava helmets

i had one of those Nava helmets and while god was generous with most of the gifts he gave me, my nose is pretty grand. Needless to say, I could not close the windshield for my nose. this was when you mail ordered stuff from cycle magazine and could not return it. I had to donate it to my smaller nosed buddy and went back to my beat up moto4!!!

Dr600

I bought an '86 DR600 Dakar last year and was disappointed to find the head/cam thrashed and the counterbalancer chain broken. It ran so I bought it. What can you do - buyer beware. I now have it stripped and starting the rebuild. The head was difficult to find until I found out about the SP600s. I got a head out of California and I'm going to paint the frame once it warms up.
I'm looking forward to riding it this year (fingers crossed).

There's an SP600 on Craigslist in CT. I'd buy it if I had the room, but I already have 5 bikes.

It's been there since Jan 18th. Seeing that I paid $800 for mine in 1991 it seems a little pricey.

you might be able to use a 90-95 dr650 engine too

i have been thinking of using the sp/dr600 head and headpipe on 91 dr650
i wonder why suzuki changed the head
