Yeah I was pretty surprised that it was that light myself. Its a physically big machine, but apparently Kawasaki did their homework.

Its as close as you are going to get to super sport performance as you are going to get without buying a super-sport.

I really think they saved a few dollars with their design team. This thing just isn't quite there. The front fairing looks bland and and forgettable, the exhaust routing is weird, the headlight is boring, the fairing/tank interface is ugly, as is the way the fairing cradles the motor.

All that ugly, and on top, the put an abbreviated little front mudguard like they were trying to be cool.

Well, as usual, people have different perspectives. This moto/us looks good to me! Much better than many recent models from a variety of manufacturers. But, I prefer fairly subtle, balanced designs.

Really? You can dish it out, but no one else is allowed...

Style is subjective.. some like the looks, some don't. It just appears to some of us who want to like this bike that they put all their resources in the mechanicals but not much into styling.. and as we all know, when it comes to bikes, looks are important and are a key factor in the bike buying decision.
