..Who will then whine about how expensive it is and then how they found another bag that works just as well for US$5.00.

![]() The bag took quite a bit of time, and a wee bit of stress to make. I have limited enthusiasm for making another one. I'm happy to stick with sharing ideas and giving others inspiration

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=487221 Corrado113 does excellent work - he made a similar kitchen bag for me to go into a Jesse Safari case. Didn't have the cutting board slot tho.

Hey
Definitely need a 'Jetboil' cooking system. Do everything in about a minute. |

Best camping food I've had
Last summer I got hooked on the stuff they sell at PackitGourmet.com. It's just up the road from me in Austin.
After eating plenty of dehydrated meals-in-a-bag, I wasn't expecting much. But this stuff was just unbelievable. Yeah, they are a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I just fire up the JetBoil, and generally have a meal ready in 5-10 min. (and it's crazy good) I pretty much gave up prepping and packing meals--I just keep a handful of these at the house and throw them into the luggage when I'm heading out. That's one less things I have to worry about. |

Looking good!
Think I'll have to order some of these. Thanks for giving us the website.

Holy cow, finally got to page 52! All day reading, sitting here reading all the great recipe ideas. And, seeing how it's been a month since the lat posting, figured I'd bump this one back to the top for the newbie inmates...like me

one of my favorite and super easy recipes for a quick dinner with very little set up is a box of zataran's jambalaya rice mix and a few chicken sausages or a 1lb kielbasa. you can take them out of the freezer and ride all day with them in your panniers and they'll be thawed.

Try my sardine and noodle dish. Quite yummy! It won't give you gas like some of the bean dishes listed.
