Try 165 mph on a 600 for a while, that's all you need to know; the Busa was actually trying to save you.

Welcome. Just don't go to Toxic Britney in Jo Momma (the basement) and you will be ok.

Well I sold my 2001 750cc Katana with only 13k mi. Looking to buy a Busa or Zx-14. I'm really leaning toward the Busa. I have a few questions for you guys, Busa experts and owners:

1.- Does the Busa front suspension 08 and later models have adjustable preload and rebound adjustments?

2.- How about the rear suspension does it have gas-charged shock with adjustable preload, stepless rebound and compression damping adjustments, adjustable ride height?

Thank you

yes and yes, you can adjust sag but not height. You can change the hight though with after market goodies.

Put it in the garage Friday evening. Got to this point yesterday. It's getting the standard "new" bike check up. Oil and filter change, new tires, all fluids flushed, etc. Should have it all back together in a few days, and I'm going for a ride next weekend!

I have my bikes through Dairyland Cycle. I had a 2002 Busa, full coverage, $250 deductible, $640/year.

The other cool thing about them is the multi-bike discount. My current GSXR-1100 with a bunch of accessory coverage (full cov), is running $460/year. I just quoted adding a brand new Vrod Muscle, full coverage, and it was $461 with BOTH bikes. That's right, $1 to insure the Vrod, basically.

I'm 30, and married, with no tickets in the last 8 years, though, so that may help.

Just called Progressive to get a quote as I am considering buying an 06 Hayabusa. $208 for a year, liability only.

44 years old, near perfect credit score, few tickets, no accidents. I already have two bikes and three cars insured with them.

I feel bad for the youngsters and what they pay for insurance.

Just finished adding a Yosh aluminum endurance racing tank. Four pounds lighter (like that makes a difference) and 3.5 liters more capacity.

cheers

Got it all back together. All fluids flushed/changed. New Bridgestone BT023's front and rear. New DID X-ring chain (old one, although only 5,800 miles, had a tight spot I didn't like). New EBC HH pads front and rear coming today via the guy driving the brown truck (stock front brakes feel a bit wooden to me). Also have a centerstand I found on ebay coming today. I think I'm gonna like this bike!

Haven't ridden it much except for around near the house so far, but a week from today 4 of us are headed out for a week! Going to make a lap of Arizona, New Mexico, maybe southern Colorado. I'll post some pics and comments when I get back.
