On another note, Socom 4 launches in a few days and I won't be buying it. Zipper wiped the slate and started fresh, totally ruining the gameplay. All of the good old socom elements are gone.

I played the Socom 4 beta a few times, the standard mode is like a hybrid between Call of Duty and Socom, but the classic mode seemed to play pretty much like Socom always has to me. But I can't quite come to terms with the third person aiming again (I guess Call of Duty has ruined me for it) so I played more of the new mode, I like the fact that I can actually aim down the sights of the weapon if I want.

I think I will give it a try.

Didn't anybody like Fallout: new vegas? I see used copies are down to 17 dollars already.

It was okay, but not as good as Fallout 3.

I really liked it but I've never played Fallout. Not really into sand-box games but this one was really good.

Looks like my girl is getting an X Box 360 which means I'm basically getting one

So I'm looking for older games that were great, right now I have Halo 3, Gears of War, and the first Call of Duty on the list and NHL 10 (it's cheaper and what all my friends have for online play). Any other good suggestions? Has there been any serious motorcycle game that can match tourist trophy

DIRT is a great racing game, off road rally, trophy trucks, buggys etc. always changing. Lots of european locations and the graphics are photorealistic. The first 2 dirts can by picked up cheap third ones out in may.

You've got until fall. Battlefield 3 and Forza 4 should see me through most of our never ending winter.

I got really bored with COD Black Ops and went back to Battlefield Bad Company. Much better game.

Right now I'm digging Batman Arkham Asylum and the original Portal both of which are available for download off of Xbox Live.

Anyone get Portal 2? Hyped up like the second coming on much of the intertubes, I don't see how they're going to get a full $60 game out of the premise.
