Great stuff!

My first real dirtbike was an 1980 CR125 and could wheelie that thing forever. Then sold it and bought a RM500, many scares from that one. Thanks for sharing!

Did some testing of the 89 CR125 on a super secret Westchester county test track facility, It was nice and ran good, just have to make some adjustments.

I feel more comfortable photographing x-country races wearing full body armour too

Your welcome anytime Flug, There are 4 125's in the garage now so one could be yours for the day!

1 week till the next round at Evansville Raceway in Berweick Pa. It is a 2 day event with regular MX on Saturday and a 1hr GP on Sunday, The GP uses the whole mx track and then a field/woods loop giving a 15 min lap time. Last year was hot and dusty hopefully it is not cold and wet this year.
I have a lot to do, the RM is not ready, The CR needs to be gone through and personalized, my sons main bearing went in the YZ at the double secret test facility yesterday so that had to go home with my motor guy, who happened to be there and heard it.... Might have to brake out my secret weapon, just not sure what class i would race it in?

Might be good for the GP on Sunday?

Thats cool!!! I thought I asked if you got the CR but realize I didn't. What is a classic bike. Ive seen one or 2 of the first year single shock rm's ans some other stuff and am slightly curious. Not that I have the time, money, space or understanding wife at this time

Wow, does that bring back memories. I had a 1979 RM80 which I raced, and then got an RM125 just like this one which I raced for 2 seasons. Those were some good times!

Got to ride today... tried the 80 RM 125 but am having carb/jetting issues, my son rode then 89 cr125 because he will race it this weekend while his YZ gets a new crank, the 150 KTM rocks and is the most fun bike ever!

Not sure what i will be racing this weekend but it will be something.....

The 89 CR 125 is 7 yrs older than my son that would be like me racing a 1952 bike...
