Very nice. There's been a few A's and T's in our family over the years. Alway loved the A's. Glad your keeping it stock.
Thanks!

It's currently in my uncles airplane hangar. I haven't seen it in a couple months.. since I live 120 miles away and he's out of town every other day as a commercial pilot.

..but, the engines still in my shop. I exchanged the camshaft. I actually got the original one to the engine back. It looks good. WAY better than the scuffed up one they originally sent me from their pile.

I need to take my 1930 Ford Motorhome out

Well I just can't find the time to ride my motorcycles and drive my 1930 Motorhome around and work.

This Motorhome has everything a new one has except electric slide. It is always ready to go, just pull it out of the garage and blow the dust off!

I'd forgotten about this thread. Not to threadjack, but I said I always wanted a Model A-now I have two-both rough projects. Here's one of them:

Dag nabbit, why are half of my pics not showing up? I'll try to re-link them soon.

Well, upon leaving my shop, it is getting "the full treatment" at my uncles shop. He is much more meticulous than I am, so this thing is getting an amazingly-detailed restoration. I am more of a "resurrector" than a restorer, but technically, it's his vehicle and although it sat for a few decades, my work on it motivated him to get cracking on it.

To give you an idea of where the project was shortly after I last updated, this 2-year old picture might give an indication:

He now has all of the "original" parts as well as his own collection in his shop. I still possess spare engines, transmissions, and miscellaneous parts that my grandpa collected 40 years ago. He has cleaned up, painted, and assembled much of the vehicle (in the original style of the build date of the original car) apart from the body; the last major hurdle.

I have offered to buy all of his spare parts when he is finished. There is literally enough to build at least one more rolling/driving frame, if not two. I am not opposed to a mis-matched car, because honestly.. who out there could tell if I am using a 1931 bolt on a 1930 frame? (Other than my uncle.)

I'll try to get some pictures over the holidays. Living 120 miles away from his shop was a problem before, but I live 500 miles away now.

I would display that in my livingroom.

How'd you get the FAA to sign off on the flightworthiness of that frame?
