What's on the other side of the "caravan" ?

I noticed that i have to improve my camera settings, 640x480 is very convenient, but not so sharp.
thanks for the pictures
i wish you had taken them AT FULL RESOLUTION
you can always "downgrade" your images, later
as you said above.... use all the "POWER" of your camera by setting it at its highest resolution

still appreciate you sharing with us
well done

I'm not sure, but i think it was a common 2 valve Beemer. (look at the grab rail at the seat)

@ ClearwaterBMW, I'm using that camera just for photo's i' would like to publish. I don't see the requirement why i would take large scale photo's and downscaling them every time i'm publishing them. Our Dutch forum takes 640x480 pictures without any efford and shows them at a good scale. But i will experiment with some different scales to see what purpose it can serve.

Now that you made me really study that picture that butt-ugly mirror on top of the caravan appears

It's an EML HW1 with a BM R100/7 engine, the sidecar is a Briggs double-adult (2 adults, 2 children)

New stator and coils and all seems well, plus the usual carb cleaning, brakes and filters.I'll be able to tell better on Thursday when i take it out for a ride.

Mike used the bike to race the Barstow to Vegas and also the Adelanto GP, two races that i know of. I'm sure there were plenty more.

If you know more about the history of the bike i would be very interested to hear it, or see any photos that may be out there.

Thanks, Chef

I know that rig. It was hanging around when I had my FJ1200 rig built through Mike.
I may have a picture or two.

And you can have it.

OK, it's a 'classic' for it's time.

Just must've been an unfortunate time!

My favorite, Guzzi/Armec

The crowd, every orange flag represents a sidecar which arrived on time, The have less than 100 flags

Those bikes are breathtaking! I’m planning to buy an older black bike with side car. I liked that black R with Steib sidecar.

Do you have any front suspension travel? I see the fork brace is compressing the gaiters some but wow.

Also, is that an Ural tub on a Velorex frame?

That sounds like a great time, but who was riding passenger in the sidecars?
