I went back 5 pages in pic's and couldn't find a thread about bridges and bikes so...here's a new thread.

Reportedly the highest bridge in california at 730 foot above the water this is the bridge over the american river canyon at the confluence of the N+M forks of the river. I believe it was completed in the late 70's. It is currently undergoing upgrades.



The bridge on ponderosa way crosses the N fork of the American river.
Long time destination for swimming, jumping, parties ect.
Until recently...as they now charge for parking, day use and such.
Being part of the cal state parks system, all the regulations you can think of are in effect.
No fires, no bottles, no, no, no...
and the road is 15mph!
