This was the oldest bridge in the state of Arkansas still in use.
Rated 3 tons, and an ass crossed it at 18,000 pounds a few weeks ago and it collapsed. ![]() ![]() ![]() Oldest bridge in Arkansas, circa 1876, but you can't get on it anymore. Bike pic from it. The bike is there....

Here's the CB250 Honda Adventure bike at Waldport, Oregon.
edit: The Pacific Ocean is a few hundred meters west of the bridge. Dave

Hee hee - a few...
The trip on the Yamaha Tenere was over the late fall/winter/spring of 2008/2009. I started off in Vegas, then headed over to Colorado via Sedona AZ and New Mexico to ride the TAT sections before the snow came, then up to Oregon - back down through CA to San Diego, then in the new year headed through southern Arizona/New Mexico and down to Big Bend, followed the Gulf coast to Key West... Then back up (via Daytona) to North Carolina, picked up the Blue Ridge Parkway/Deals Gap, then back through Tennessee, Arkansas etc on the TAT... once I got back to Colorado, I stayed south via 160 and Durango, then back over to Moab and though southern Utah (Glen Canyon and Bryce) then back to Vegas... 23,000 miles in six months! The XR650R trip was the previous year (Fall 2007), mainly desert Southwest and up as far as Oregon again... Jenny x |

The George Washington Bridge between NJ and NYC. My bike might be in one of these pictures, I don't remember exactly where it was anymore.
