Brace yourselves!
It's not pretty, brought very cheap and as a doer upper

Progress so far....

Remove a bins worth of tat!, removed upsidedown trailer suspension with nearly siezed hub bearing ( wondered why it pulled to the left so hard)
Took tub off for filling of holes!

New suspension arm, wheel and shock fitted, waiting on castle nut and s clips for brake shoes, Oh I've cleaned engine and etch primed it ready for spraying

Scruffy little monkey but quite happy at 80mph

Sounds if you are pulling my leg.
In the other case: these events are known as "Jumbo run" after the original event in England.
We gather together as sidecar drivers and take a passenger on board from a local institution. These can be children with down syndrome, but also young adults who suffered brain injury.
This Beatrixrun and the Zeelandia run (i'll post pictures) of next weekend acquire a year of organization from local volunteers. we sidecarrists just respond to the invitation and spend a day and some gallons of gasoline.
The joy is a great day driving, having lunch together and having fun with the fellow sidecarrists and the children.
The run next weekend is to far from my home so i'll be camping, also organized by those volunteers.

Jumbo GB......A fun wk-end and very rewarding. Must get over to the Dutch one sometime.

Add 1 part /7 frame. a R90 engine bored to 1000cc, R65 swingarm, a 450 watt alternator, and most of a 72 R75/5, then throw on a 1970's Globe sidecar and this is what you come out with.........

Love it! There's one of those Beemers with the "toaster" tank near me that a great older gentleman owns... He "thinks" he "may" sell it "someday".... Meanwhile, patience....

Did another run this weekend, The Zeelandiarun. Very well organized, from camping, coffee, breakfast until the lunch, ice cream stop and dinner.
pictures, small again, on purpose:

At first solo's, in privies pictures the old BSA sidecar of the Dutch automobile association was shown.
Nowadays the have some more modern equipment. Two of them where assisting during the run last saturday.

The yellow sticker says (in German) "only the Titanic rests lower"

Some American engined trikes. There where about 20 of them, mostly VW engined, some Peugeot, and these V twins.
