The lights have built in thermal protection that will reduce the output if they get to hot. Return to full power when the the temperature drops.

Hey Sanjoh, just jumping in to say the dimmer is at my house, woohoo
![]() You must live in a Post Office, lol. One more question...have you seen evidence yet of the lights with the yellow Xpel covers on? If I could ONLY see evidence of how they look fired up :), I'd be happy knowing whether to stick them on or not. Do you feel the lights will throw just as far at night, only in a yellow color? I think the yellow would really grab attention more during day, as well...obviously i'm looking for justification to turn them yellow :) |

Thoughts on set-up - two 44s in the fairing and 2 wide angles mounted to the fork legs. That way when leaned into a turn, you'll still get some light on the road.

I don't have an exact measurement. In either case I have a sleeve that looks the fairing to the lights so the light "leaking" from between them doesn't blind me

OK, just BB pics during the day in the garage, but you can see where I initially have the leds, using some existing holes in my shield. Gets them up about as high as I am able, but I have decided to move them down on my lower fork under the headlight, to get some triangle effect, and to keep my blinkers visible. The Memphis clamps will be in soon so hopefully that will close the chapter. Dimmer and high beam override options work on the wireless fob, just need a place to fasten it. Once I have them on the forks I will suck it up and put on the Xpel yellow covers and see what it does, since NO ONE apparently has done this yet ROFL.

Discount Code
OK I'm ready to buy a set.
Is there still a discount code for advriders ? and what is it ? I'm thinking two 44's with yellow covers on my 990 A A couple on my 1200 Multistrada. Maybe one yellow and one white will keep the cagers on their toes. Max

If any of you would like to upgrade, please send me a PM, I'd be happy to buy your old ones, they can't be 4 years old

Hi Guys,
Sorry to ask this question but I really need this cleared up for me. I have a 30 and 44 coming and want to wire up to my F800GS. All of the wiring diagrams on this thread show either a dimmer set up, relay or both. Can some one please post a diagram of how I can wire these up so they only come on with my High Beam but can be switched of with a simple on off switch also. No relay and no dimmer.(I seem to remember that these lights do not need either) please correct me if I am wrong. All I am after is a simple diagram showing me how this is done. Any help would be appreciated guys and I am sorry if this has already been posted but I could not find it. Cheers
