How I love my Tenere

I've got a blue S10 on order and can't wait. That said, in the interest of throwing the BMW trolls a bone, Sanders was experiencing leaking fork seals... post 21 @; http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...=694112&page=2

Considering what the bike and rider have been through already, that is incredible. My '09 800 GS had a whole bunch of warranty issues and recalls by then, and hadn't spent more than 400 miles (at most!) off pavement!

The more I read about the S10, (and I've read every page of this thread, Wasp's thread, and a couple others) the further away August gets!!

In Sanders's case I honestly think not. He is firstly a traveller (he used to cycle the world before motorcycling it) and has always seemed disinterested in the niceties of what gear and parts are "best", or even needed. In this and most other respects his way of doing things is the complete opposite of the 'Long Way Round' approach.

Yes they are... I guess either Yamaha weren't too confident their own boxes would do the job, or Touratech made a significant contribution...

BTW - this is not a stock S10 muffler - it has two outlets. Not one I've seen before, anyone know anything about it?

Yes...I did...and should again. They're all I've owned to date. It will have an HB top case...I'll look at the HB side cases again.

MoBill, we should get together and discuss the bags and ideas, I still have not decided which ones, I do like the Touratech though, but I also like the Trax on Wasp's bike, but now he says he would go for Touratech now I'm lost again but that happens a lot
