Hello Bend27. Yeh it is me, and I have had a few good bikes, but none have been as pleasurable to ride as the 1200 in the bush. I cannot describe it and it is the reason I am doing what I am doing, cause I want to have that feeling again and I have not had it with any other machine since, so, that is why I decided to build what hopefully will be a bike with that feeling that is strong enough to take the abuse I so love to give it.

That is the dream anyway...soon to be reality. I will let you know how it goes

awesome as usual Pilly, yeah i see your getting ready for the Apc Rally, Actually this bike looks more together than your rally bike at the moment, good luck with that. Anyway thanks for the reply we will have to wait till you get some free time.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Maybe too late to the party, but have you considered using a drive axle using a CV joint rather than 2 universal joints? CV joints have a greater ability to articulate than u joints. I would consider the drive line and FD to be the weak point in what you're doing.

Hello Lambo, funny you mention that, I have just the last couple of days been googling and checking out Gas Fluxers. It would save a bit of time in prep and cleanup, they are not cheap though and I hear they chew through hoses too. Don't haqppen to have one you want rid of do ya?

Hello Modnrod, no the rain has all gone away and, it is starting to get warmer, soon the aircon will be on again in the shed no doubt.
