Great pics!

Can't wait to see the Genuine/Sweetheart back out at the Hutton stomping grounds

I remember seeing you aboard that bike for the first time at the Shell station in Milton, 300 years ago. I thought, this here gazoonie thinks he's gonna ride BW aboard that old G/S...this will not end well.

But I was wrong.

Install tank, seat, muffler, front fender and side panels.

Looks like a 15 minute job to me.
or maybe five 15 minute episodes.
Get busy.

Bat Country? Hell, this was botany country, bubba. Loaded up with Perz the damned biologist and headed out on bikes for a weekend of dust and close-call hijinks and a few steps over the line as SOP. Perz was a great skilled silent-good rider (the sneaky-good kind) and was a good wingman for all the shenanigans we'd eat and foster. I knew the trap i was in though when we stopped on the 50/50 route and I winged out a piss and he said, "As your Biologist I'll have you know you are pissing on a prized bromeliad, there Doctor."

I knew after that exchange to keep him close, lest he throw poison ivy cuttings in my helmet, the bastard. The skilled bastard.

POG - Beast Ride Sunday - Alabama Dragon

Tony and all,

Here's the plan.

We will meet you and the P'cola/Mobile contingent in Brewton at the Wow Wingery at 7am Sunday. From there we will continue up 41 to the South 40 Restaurant in Repton for a quick breakfast at 7:30. This will be a good place to meet Frank and anyone else from up that way.

After breakfast we will head up to Burnt Corn for a quick stop and then continue over to 21 north. We will follow 21 up to Beatrice where we will pick up 265 north to Camden. If we have time we can stop at the grist mill (if it's open that is...).

Once in Camden we will have two options:
1) Ride 41 south to Monroeville thereby completing the Alabama Dragon route.

2) Catch the 11:15 ferry and continue 20 miles north to CR 4 which is a groomed dirt road of about 4 miles. From there we would turn south and head down to Pine Hill for lunch before continuing to Lower Peachtree to CR 35 to SR 84 then over to Perdue Hill for some historic sights. CR 35 is a hoot!

Option 1 is a lot shorter than option 2 which is about 396 miles for me.

Roll call time fellers!
Rick
