Magellan GPS315

I've got a problem with my GPS, The thing doesn't read right. the latitude & longitude readings are off. everything else seems to work ok, is it junk or is there some adjustment or something I can do to it?

Do you have it on the right format and not some weird format like MGRS or some foreighn grid? Go to the settings and set it to wgs 84 I believe.

I checked it, was set on WGS 72 switched it to WGS 84. I'll have to compare it to another gps again and see if it's different, coordinates are the same before and after changing settings as you suggested Thanks for the imput
