It won't end well. I looked into hitches for my 3 series before buying a truck - these cars just are not made to have hitches mounted to them.
It really pulled nice, hitch designed well, and was a way to haul track tires. Think it had made my trek across country at least 4 times. Never loaded with much.

I actually really like the idea. Go someplace twisty and fun. Have your nice little camper. Drive the roads and enjoy.

Great for a couple.

Don't store them outside ever. Don't ever take anybody with you that whines about a hard bed. Do find one that is well sealed. Cabinet inside was nice and the lift up back deck had an extension for cooking on. Solar powered roof vent and sun roof vent, but sun roof was contoured so not good for flat roof.

Wicked The Burro

http://rochester.craigslist.org/rvs/2488366139.html

I have a 1983 Hard-shell Fiber Glass camper made by Burro out of Minnesota. Has never been on a camping trip. Has a new floor and paint job. There is sink with tank supply optional to hose hookup. Electrical with a GFCI in line. The kitchen also has a new gas stove with new lines, a refrigerator, plenty of storage and room for a couple with one other bed. dont let the pictures fool you. There is quite a bit of room inside.
The thing is practically new. Inherited from my grandfather down south. These trailers go for $5,000 plus on a regular basis.
I have the title, is inspected and the trailer is registered until 2014. Yes the lights work as well, and were checked over by a professional technician.
The weight is 900 lbs so it can be towed by car or light truck as well.
Please contact Bryan @ 585-943-3797
I invite you to come down and take a look @ this one of a kind American Made jewel.

Does this qualify as a little/light camper? It's only 48' long?

I owned this sweet little camper for a short while. Super light and could even be towed by a motorcycle.
