more focused light beam would be good
I would love to get some led spots or a focused beam projector headlamp for the WR, but have not found one for a good price. Coming from the dual beam deep basket reflectors of the vstrom, the WR just does not put out enough light. More like a flood than a defined beam. Show us those pics of the lynx light pattern.

im not sure how well you can see it, but the 530 on the right side of the pic has a small rollie on the fender. Thats the bag I am going to get when I finally get a fender rack. ![]() DSCF4147 by Rider_wv, on Flickr |

fwiw the ktm had the bag mounted down the fender, if you turn it sideways and strap it clear on the back of the rack you would have tons of room to get your ass back on the fender in the whoops.

http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...309439&page=45 They have a kit on their site for the conversion kits for $225. It might be a little expensive, but it is supposed to be of the highest quality and the pics show a great beam pattern. also here: http://www.futurevisionhid.com/produ...ector-kit.html

Good to know. I'm thinking of using it to stow tube/irons & a few tools/pump--my tire repair kit. Think that'll work? What do you use it for?

Has anyone had a need to remove the "Speed Senor" on the top of the crankcase buried under the starter? Is there a way to do it without pulling the motor? Perhaps by just pulling the starter? Or getting the cam tensioner out of the way (can that be done w/out tearing the head cover off?)? If you want to know the sad, embarrassing tale of why I'm asking: http://wr250rforum.forumotion.com/t4...eping-what-now Try not to laugh too hard or judge too harshly.

So does anyone have experience with both the Pro Moto Billet F5 and F6 cleats? I ordered the rack last night and since I didn't want to pay shipping I ordered the F5 pegs as well. It was easier to justify something I didn't NEED that way.
I was just sent an email letting me know they were out of the F5 pegs but sent F6 pegs and included a packet of the F5 cleats.I guess I could wait and install them with the different cleats to see how different they feel on my own feet but was wondering if anyone had some insight they could provide. Thanks.
