Sidi Adventure Rain (Non-Gore-Tex).
Had them for a year (next month - August), they take a little while to break in, they are very comfortable. I commute everyday and wear these. Problems/Cons: Very hot during a heatwave (though all boots like this are in a heatwave). Mine leak easily. Ride through a puddle, get caught in the rain, stand in a wet field, walk through a puddle. Once wet, they simply do not dry without a special drier. I think I am in the minority on the leaking problem, they are warranted for 2 years and I have been cleared to return them to the vendor, but not until after my next four day tour with my oldest. I'd rather wear these boots that leak on a long trip than my Alpinestars (Gore-Tex) that have NEVER leaked because I like the secure feeling of the Sidi's. |
