It's ok. All of us who have spent time with Eggy, worry about his safety at the drops, (and sometimes with certain inmates....) I am sure he will be fine, it looks like a good spot.

After making the grab and absconding with said Egg. We decided to get out of town. On the advice od the tall guy named Bob we decided to take Hwy 80 East out of town. Man what a road. The section just outside of Elkhorn through the Breakers was great.
![]() But section Hayters Gap was out of this world. I could see my own tail lights on a couple of the switch backs. Sorry my photographer didnt get any pics of them as she was hanging of for dear life. ![]() ![]() Oh and dont anyone get to excited. Mr. Egg will have seen five states before he settles down again. I siad he was moving out of the neighnorhood and I didnt mean just down the block ![]() My name aint Yankee Dog for nuttin ya no.

Mr. Egg is still on the move. Not to Alabama however. Egg has already seen that Great State. The desire is to see something new. So we worked our way northeast along the VA KY border. Man!!! All I can say it the roads in this neck of the world are out of this world. Really the only bad thing was seeing the ghosts of what it had been. This house for instance just screamed out “SAVE ME” as we rode past.
![]() We stopped in Paint Bank, VA for lunch at the Swinging Bridge Restaurant. It is located in the Point Bank General Store. ![]() Nice place, great food. In fact, Mr. Egg ate so much he fell asleep. ![]() After that we went for a walk in the woods. Mr. Egg had fun at first. But after he ran into some of the locals we decided it was time to get back on the road. ![]() We finished the day up in Fayetteville, WV location of the New River Gorge Bridge. Folks, if you are ever in this neck of the woods you must check this place out. And if you do you must take the ride under the bridge. Do take your time however, the road is narrow and the pavement is rough. ![]() ![]() So ends today, tomorrow we head North on Hwy 16. Should be fun.

Great Job!
The Paint Bank General Store is a MUST if you are in that area. There is lots of great riding all around there and the George Washington National Forest
![]() ![]() ![]() Can't wait till the EGG makes it up here!

Yankee Dog
Glad to meet you at the bottom of the gorge. Had my Harley, not the Wee, and was leading a CMA ride. The ride down and back up the other side is really great. You need to come up in October and watch hundreds of crazies jump from the upper bridge.
