Head North young man, to the UP.
If you want to make it VERY interesting, take Mr. Egg to Copper Harbor.

Hope you and Bratso are doing good and having fun. Hope to see you back home again next weekend.

You guys just had a look that said adventure riders. The Tiger says adventure. I'm lways looking out for ADV riders when I'm out riding, either on my Harley or my Wee. Have a safe trip and post some more pics. You might even want to do a full report over in "ride reports."

Bratso and I were on our way to a family reunion when we made the grab. So since the Dog family holdings are located in the thumb of Michigan, so too shall the new location of the Egg be located in the thumb of Michigan. I would have really liked to take it all the way to the UP, but time and circumstances would not allow. Still, I don’t think this is a bad drop location. Accessible to many, the egg could move anywhere from here. I will suggest that if you approach from the South, you just hop on the slab and be done with it. The fingers of the metro Detroit area are long and it is a royal PIA to navigate through the surrounds.
This is the money shot ![]() After you get the money shot turn a little more than 90 degrees clockwise. You will be looking at the Thomas Edison Depot Museum. It is across the street and a couple of hundred yards away. Mr. Egg is located there underneath the rail car. ![]() ![]() This series of photos should walk to right to the honorable Mr. Egg. Move across the street to the museum. Park in front and walk around the left side of the building. ![]() Once you get around back, you will see a little alcove between the building and the train car. Move to the end of the alcove and look down past the down spout. See the white chunk of concrete. Dig there and you will find the prize buried in the gravel. ![]() ![]() Good luck and fine travels. Bratso and I really enjoyed our time with Mr. Egg. I am sure you will as well. Yankee Dog and Bratso

What do you tell the employee that comes out to ask you why you are digging in their museum? "I'm from the internet and I'm looking for a buried egg"?
Epic trip though. Bravo.

Tell them you are looking for a Geo-Cache!!! Well you are kind of looking for one. This can happen at most any location you pick up or drop the TAG. I know all to well, for I have been asked a few too many times about just what I was doing there, taking a picture of my bike in some strange places. Good job with the placement... But could have seen some more photo's from the trip maybe... But all it good here and have a safe trip home after you are done visiting your family.

The nice people at the Depot Museum are aware of and approve of Mr. Egg. In fact, the lady at the convention and visitors bureu across the street suggested it and made introductions. They dont know exactly where it is at but they are aware of what is going on.
