second picture is a 72 GT550 right, at first looked like the "water buffalo" but the fins of the air cooled head gave it up.. ;)

You don't need no stinkin clutch to shift!!! It's there, just hard to see. We had to do a LeMans start back then. A clutch lever was very important...

Yup, GT550 testing in some remote desert area. I had lot's of fun back then and never really appreciated what it was I got to do....

I echo this statement 1 million percent. I ride an '82 GS850G. Never once let me down despite being older than I am. I love my Suzuki. 28 years old and 26,000 miles, still plenty of life left for me.





I love it because it is simple, efficient, affordable, classic good looks, bulletproof, comfortable, quiet, not a slouch in the power department, need I continue? If am in the market for a new bike in the future you can bet I'm gonna look at the big S first.

Hi all, I'm new here. This is my first Suzuki after owning a Harley, several Hondas and a Kawi. This is my 1999 Bandit 1200S that I picked up last year and is so far, my favorite bike to date.

I took these over the winter after I finished replacing the tires, brakes, chain, sprockets and gave it a tune up. Unfortunately, I had to have back surgery this past May so, I have yet to do any riding this summer. I'm hoping to put a few miles on before the snow starts flying again here in Wisconsin.

Anyways, love this site.
