Olympic Peninsula Cabin/house Rentals?
Anyone know of a cabin or something that is pet friendly, on a body of water (ocean, lake, river) on the Oly Pen? On the north or west sides, preferable.
It's our 10th anniversary trip. Going for about a week, and need to bring the dogs. not looking for super fancy or rustic - clean, comfy, and relatively private. No riding - just hiking, lounging, playing in the water, and that kind of stuff.

We went up here last weekend.
![]() Fits the bill for clean, comfy and relatively private. Unfortunately, it's in the wrong part of WA . . . near Mt.Rainier. Sorry, I guess I got nothing.

boathouses?
There used to be boathouse rentals at Pleasant Harbor, near Brinnon. Not sure if they are still in operation.

My sister and her husband stayed at this place once. I don't know if it's too snooty for you but they do allow pets for an extra 20 bucks. Seems pretty private except for the other cabins on the property.
http://www.sunsetmarineresort.com/ Port Townsend is a cool little atrsy fartsy place. Probably plenty of tide pools nearby to check out too. You don't have to go too far to see something beautiful around there. |

West of Forks right on the ocean is LaPush. They have cabins of varying quality and cost.

Go to Washington State Parks and look for rentals, there are everything from officer row houses up on the sound to rustic cabins back in the woods a bit.

Rental
My folks stay here each year with their dogs..
http://www.quileuteoceanside. They allow dogs in some of the cabins. If you don't have to be able to see the ocean, their camper cabins are very reasonable from $63 a night |

Lots of private, detached places, and some really nice for very little money. It's amazing what you can get for $50/night in most places. I think you can also search by allows dogs. |
