Thanks all!
It looks like she is coming out of it. Dr's were right it would take some time. She has had a ton of people up there this that and the othering over her so I made sure to stop in and say hi before she got tuckered out. Dr's want people to quit trying to make her talk because the tube they had in her throat has roughed it up. That's hard to do... She can Yammer on and on... Just like me. :) I did get out for a little while on the Rucklone today and it seems just as good as the day I got it. In fact it feels a little quicker to get up to cruising speed? I Thought it would feel like a moped after being on my Bonnie all week But it does seem to be running a little quicker?? Might have been a compression loss with the stripped out plug....Donno I Need to decide if I want to put the Puffy chrome stickers on the bike that came in the toolbox. People keep asking me what it is but they dont seem to understand. I just get the "Oh My such and such had a chink scooter and it blew up after 10k miles" Sweet! I Hope it last 10k miles :) I like the Duro tires it has on it more and more. I may not put any kind of knobby on it until they wear out. Anyway, Mom's getting better....and the bike is running great. The week started out crummy but things are looking up.

Back to the scoot!
He is some pics I got for everyone the other day at the park when I got the bike back from the shop. It has been running great since the sparkplug incendent. I have been running the bike with the side panels off.... I kinda like it. BTW Mom is on her way to making a good recovery. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I Have been riding the crap out of the scoot, it is slowly becoming my main mode of transportation save for a few days I need my truck.
I have been riding it enough that I need to figure out a windshield and I guess fabricate some leg shields for it for the winter. I know there are some that you have to get from Japan but those are high dollar and I am trying to get out of debt..... and I am cheap. I am still having trouble finding a Tub Like the Action packer for the cargo area. Every time I am buy a walmart I stop in to check and see if they have the size I need, I come out empty handed. The backpack hanging on the back of the seat just ain't cutting it especially when I need to go get groceries or bigger items. |

Deezil, haven't you figured out that you're the BR clone guru around here? Those of us that have lusted for a Big Ruckus, and had Honda screw us, are looking for you to be the trailblazer for us. |

You might consider a lap apron, too.

Actually your bike looks cool without the side panels, and I noticed the space where the radiator and puke tank would go behind the gas tank, so watercooling is a possibility.
As for the Rubbermaid, here's a link http://www.rubbermaid.com/Category/Pages/ProductDetail.aspx?Prod_ID=RP091427 You want the 8 gallon, it fits perfect between the passenger hand grips on the frame. Also consider a bungee net, I bought the largest one I could find, and it holds all my gear on the back of the Big Ruckus fine. Here's a pic of my BR with the Rubbermaid on the back and the net holding it....

pop those small red frame covers that go under the seat back on, and have the large ones sprayed with rhino liner and it'll look alot more BR like. more durable too!

You know, if you paint the red plastics black, and change the front headlight to the dual set up, it would look a lot like The Reaper's ride over on Total Ruckus.
If you do decide to coat it in anything other than paint, just watch out for chemical reactions. I ran into that once on a pickup truck with the bedrail caps and a spray in bedliner. Seems the liner was a 2 part epoxy type which has to be sprayed in hot, well the overspray due to a poor paint job, caused little divits in the plastic bedrails. First everyone thought it was because of the heat. Then it started to ooze a few hours after cooling. Still cool looking without the lower panels though.

I Stopped by Sears today and they are going to order in the Rubbermaid container for me. Something Wal-mart would not do...
I also decided to put the side panels back on it. I am not interested in changing the paint to match the Real big ruckus. I Really like the color on it and I get compliments on it all the time by Hot Chicks so it's staying. I really do like the color on it...
