Triumph is on the move and making copies of successful motorcycles at 3/4 the price. Competition is good.

Even better.

A triple. It's worth 1.75 R engines.

I guess us Yanks will have to wait for our brethren across the Pond to clue us in - the article seems to be only in the UK version of MCN:http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/Ne...p0611-new-mcn/

I'm glad triumph isn't doing that annoying teaser marketing thing like they did with the 800. But at the same time, if the thing is released in November, we should definitely have some more tasty spy shots by now

Looks great. That's one bike that may actually make me consider replacing my Tiger 1050.

Would it be greedy to have a Daytona, Scrambler, 955 Tiger, 800xc and 1200xc in the garage?

Now where did I leave that winning lotto ticket........?

I like the looks so far will have to wait and see when it comes out. Sold my Speedy and if all goes well in the next couple of years I will be looking at this bike or maybe the Stelvio as my next bike.

I don't care about the bike for offroad thats what my DR is for ,I just want a good two up bike with a standard sitting position for long rides and every day bike.

Anybody else notice the bolt on passenger pegs?

After my brush with an 800XC I came away thinking I might be interested in the roadie version at some point as it was such a competent bike. If they can keep this on track with the 800 roadie idea, just with more grunt and keep weight to around Strom levels I might be a sucker for it.

Could fit well in the garage next to the 800GS.....(dare I say it) an upgraded strom? It's early yet, but I love this wait game as I'm always looking for something better.
