Just kidding, I have drop information on the stock of my SWS. I knew what it actually was......

ya bastidge!

Wifey has seen the skunk tonight already, it's not even dark out. How low do I have to hold 'er for a 25 yd shot on a 200 sighting-in job? Tomorrow I go to the pit and blow a box or two through, dialing it in close.....

Never had a .223 before, it's all new to me......

I'm waiting until I can get the new rifle sighted in for 25 yards tomorrow.

I'm guessing that it's not too far off at 25 yards if actually zeroed at 200, but definitely best to check it to be sure. That scope is mounted a little high off the bore IMHO, not too bad but if it were mine I'd probably want lower rings to bring it down a little.

Sighting the rifle in? At that range, you could club them with your dick!

I've never seen a tighter production gun. Built like a damn safe!

Actually not too bad on the slide. A little stiff at the start then smooth as butta'

Watch for the ricochet into that propane tank. I just paid $850 for 191 gallons and that looks like a 500. If it blows up money will be the least of your concerns but if it just gets holed you'll have to pay for all that propane...

Good call sighting it in close, I have two centerfires with scopes but I'd have to zero either in close so that it wasn't a "poke and pray."

I use to trap a lot. steel foothold not cage. Usually a skunk wont spray unless it sees something to spray at or something like a head shot triggers it.My Dad taught me to shoot them through the lungs at a distance with .22 shorts when they were trapped. It worked most of the time. They usually don't spray when the a leghold hits them but don't walk up on them.

It is a 500 - that needs to be filled soon. Sounds like propane is still high $$. I will try not to shoot it out.

I'm not one to shoot a new gun in fury without some familiarity - I'm going to the pit this morning with some paper plates, maybe I should draw skunks on them.

They probably have the most exact lug cut dimensions in the industry. Their lockup is unreal.
