Yea basically! Although I don't know specs for the CBF- from what I've seen of the FZ6, that pushes all my buttons except maybe fuel mileage. How does the Honda compare? (And, how hard is it to bring one into the states? Windsor Ontario is just across the river! )

I've never seen worse than 45, even fully loaded at interstate speeds or flogging it. 50 is average.

What 100hp bike do you know of that does better?

Yep... first tank in my FZ6 resulted in 55.5 mpg. Last tank dropped to 52 mpg because of happy wrist!

Other then being faster, and a lot more revvy, they're rather similar.

The CBF is more comfortable, has an adjustable seat, softer suspension,
a LOT more torque down low (subjectively anyways, a 600 i a 600).

The CBF is very similar to the GSX650F/Bandit 650 and people who want
a comfortable sport-tourer here in EU usually choose between those two.

The FZ6 is more of a minivan with a ferrari engine, awesome power punch
up top.

I've set up my EX500 for touring as well!

Well..okay, it's more of a Touring Dirt Chopper.....but it's got lots of luggage, and at one time was a sport bike!





Luggage is a GIVI Wingrack, with 2 45 liter and one 30 or 35 liter case.


Too many other mods to mention...but I'll admit that the new handlebars aren't really a huge improvement over the stock clipon/bolton bars.

I've gotten about 25 fully loaded up on my EX500...

My average fuel consumption this year is 46 mpg.

that explains your decision bro. Out here in India we only have one official entry in 600cc segment, which is NInja 650R. Keeping my fingers crossed for Yamaha and HOnda to bring there 600
