"Period correct" requires knowing what period you want them to be correct for.

You have lots of references to the Halcyon and Jeantet goggles.

I prefer THESE for a correct look riding my 60's desert sled. Plain old bubble goggles also look proper for the 60's and have excellent visibility.

halcyons and my 1977 r100rs.

i wear contact lenses when i ride. no air movement whatsoever over the eyes with the goggles. better peripheral vision, too.

my full coverage helmets (shoei and airoh) with shield down still allow enough air movement inside to dry out my eyes after an hour or so.

+1 for the Halcyons! I've used mine for about 2 years now and still love em :)
Small pic, but they're there.

I have a pair of these http://classicpartsltd.com/black-com...n-goggles.html

Davida sell goggles so you should be able to get them through their dealer network http://davida.co.uk/category.php?id=goggles
FYI

I went to the site linked above yesterday and was instantly nailed by a virus that was hard to get rid of. I have an IT guy here at work who worked his majic and my computer is good now, but anyone who is not qualified to be a geek squad employee might want to steer clear of that website or let the owners of it know they are infected.

Nothing flagged up on my Anti Virus software and a scan hasn't shown anything up

It's a well respected website so I've no idea what's happened there.

My avast antiwirus came up with an alert for malware on the same site.

Nice. I kind of dig those. If I could find prescription goggles that looked like Hubert Kriegel's glasses, I'd be in business.

Those are German Army surplus chemical goggles. They're rubber and would be great for swimming, not so hot for riding. Zero peripheral vison.
If you like that style, look at the Becker Horex goggles:
