nice panniers set up, did not seem to interfere with the legs in tight passages

...i would have taken the ferry

The toughest part for me was getting the engine back in the frame. I eventually used some advice from xrv.org.uk: "Start with the frame above engine parallel to the ground almost and then just worked it on and down from the left sprocket side of the engine."

ps. It should be mentioned that now is a great time to refinish the frame if it needs it. Powder coating won't cost a ton and your frame will be batter-than-new!

Thanks. Good tips, we were looking at the engine install last night wondering what the best procedure was.
