The end of 247

I found the end of 247, and it really is the Ohio River. A local told me about the road when it did turn and ran along the rivers edge. But 20 yrs. ago, they adjusted the rivers level, and that road is out in the river about 150 ft., and 60 ft. down.
Ride safe all, and ATGATT please.
Greg

The XT is great little bike, but 1/4 mile through 5 feet of water might be a bit too much for it.

They dammed up the river and turned it into a lake. The original roads that ran along the river were flooded over. I guess they forgot to tell Garmin

I had been planning to go camping near there that weekend... plans changed.

I ended up pitching my tent out here.
