Kawaski green question
JGT: a couple of questions:
I have a green IMS 3.4 (it has it's own shrouds) on my '04 KDX200. Color is not a great match, but the green is translucent enough to see the fuel level. Overall, happy with the tank. I'm going to buy a larger tank for my 03 KLX400r. I'm seriously considering the Clark 3.6. How does Clark's green compare to stock Kawasaki plastics? or to the IMS green? Is the Clark also translucent enough to see the gas level? I'm looking for a bit more range, not a dessert sled. Thank you. |

The Clarke Kawasaki Green is just a shade brighter than the IMS Kawi Green, I personally think it is a slightly better match, still not perfect however. Clarke also uses a little bit thinner plastic and you may slightly be able to see your fuel level through the tank.

These guys are great! There was a mounting conflict between the new Husky TE630 Safari tank and the headers on the Leo Vince Titanium single pipe exhaust. I brought my bike down and they engineered a new brace.....AND gave me the 5% ADV discount. Nice shop...thanks Tom, Ben and Thomas!

Thanks! The bike looks great. How has the tank been holding up? Does everything still feel solid? Sorry I could not be at the shop when you came into to pick it up, I am glad you liked the brace set up though. Safari is in the works right now of getting a new cross brace designed. I hope it all keeps working well for you, and can take you places the stock tank could not. Keep up the good times.
Thanks, Tom P. and everyone else at JGT |

here's to hoping for a 4+ gallon tank for for the '09+ KLX250 in the next year. Also thinking of a wolfman rack while I'm dreaming!

Yamaha XT250
Any chance you'd have a source for an increased capacity tank for the 2008-2011 Yamaha XT250?
