Other than weekend rides.....is anyone available for the occasional weekday ride?......surely there are a few other shift workers in the GT region who might like some mid-week ride therapy

Gags
Always up for a weekday ride, not too many tourists around or 4X4's on the off beaten tracks. AHHH the life of a shift worker.

A dead certainty for the Southerners( shit weather for weeks)!

We need to work out a system about who gets to choose the next camp site. e.g. the rider who rode the furtherest distance to Baileys Rocks or similar.
I'll try to make that weekend but from around then harvest will be seriously kickin my ass for free moments, but depending on how the stars align a day trip could be the go, its about 1 1/4hrs from here..
And yeah Slowpoak ,weekdays work for me.

I'm up for a few weekday rides in the coming months, after the next couple of weeks pass by.
Wednesdays and fridays will be the best, but we'll get to that later...

Ride Time.

Throwing out the invite for a casual meet/greet ride on Oct 17th to Nelson, meeting @ Heywood for SW ADV riders. PM me or post a reply. Details of time or meeting point will be arranged if there are any takers. Nothing like a Monday ride to piss-off the masses !

Monday ride.

Was a good for a ride Gags, cold beer, fresh fuel & plenty of bush turkeys running around with chicks. Still slippery on some of the sandstone roads , but made for a interesting day dodging small bush rats ( small wallaby's ). The day was made by riding the beach @ picannaie ponds.
Start back work tomorrow, finish monday morning gags, so I'll see how the week pans out next block off.

Thanks for rubbing it in......I am still on leave for the next 2 weeks but getting prepped for the Poon/Top Hut trip. Might be up for a small easy ride to ensure everything is as it should be.............

If we don't ride, have a safe ride up to Poon/Top hut.

@ Shell servo/Footy Ground corner in my home town.

Yep i'm from Heywood, out the road due east from footy ground.
Not on the net all the time.
Keen to meet a few fellow ADV'ers, and i'm not into suing people.

XRmn, I'm guessing you may no longer be up for this after your mishap on the little desert?

I think I need to be in Adelaide now too, but hopefully anyone keen still rocks up.
