Today was mileage lite but picture heavy...I'll try to do my best not to post too many of 'em 'cause quite frankly....a lot them look just alike anyway!

My wife had some time to ride mid-day today before going to work this evening so I rolled out the XR250 for her so we could hit a few gravel roads too.

This was the 3rd time in 3 days that I'd ridden up Apple Rd. and with the cold nights we've had there seems to have been a little more color each day....it'll prolly all be gone in a week or two....

Then we looped around the West end of the park on single lane pavement. Check out the old gindstones in this wall.

It was real pretty around that end but, I'm afraid my pics don't do it it's due justice.

I turned the lead back over to her as we rode some fresh marbles back up into the park....

Still plenty of green in this shot...I can't remember what kind of trees around here have pretty colors and which ones just turn brown.

A quick ride through the parking lot to do some u-turn practice.

Another shot for 257...just to compare colors.

Yes, she owns better helmets and boots and has heard all the ATGATT sermons.....

She didn't have all afternoon to ride so....here's a little color as we passed through town.

...and a little more as we turned into our little country neighborhood.

...and this is hanging right above my old pickup truck.

After I put her bike away I rode back over to the park and ponied up my $2 just for 257bob...see the things I do for you?

good for her... just be careful, or you'll be sitting at home taking care of the pooches and your wife is going to play in Colorado.

Believe me...she's tired of it being the other way around!

Her schedule is so crazy with work, work and school that she barely ever even gets a full day off to herself anymore....

btw...I've been thinking CADVR next summer but WF and RMAR look to be back to back weekends in Colorado...late July/early August

CADVR is always a good time. Pinktoad and I are still pretty sore about having to miss it this year for work.

257bob has me feeling guilty about just doing drive-bys of the Living History Farm in KMSP ..so now I'm out 2 bux and have a low hanging sun to deal with

Told ya it was the outhouse.

I'd look good sitting on that front porch!

Looking across the garden towards the cotton gin.

You have to look pretty close but there's some critters out there.

I made a new friend.

Another garden plot...looks like they really do work the place.

This contraption is for mashin' all the goodness out of sourgum.....

Then it's cooked down into molasses.

If I'm gonna fight the lighting I may as well look it in the eye!

Time to ride down to the swimming hole.
