That's Beautiful, Kev.
As we seem to have a bit of time to kill :I've developed an unhealthy obsession with older Nortons over the last couple of years (the singles, not the twins). Can you guys recommend a good dealer or source?

UK but working in KSA. looking for a complete bike as I'm returning next year for a few months. Mechanically and cosmetically sound as I'll be working overseas for a while.
I love the flat tankers but the prices are out of my league.

Ok first setback (and I have yet to have the frame turn up from Devon) the motor I had sourced has fallen through, the seller had offered it to someone else first, but he had not been in touch, until I said I would have it, then all of a sudden there he was.
![]() Oh well time to keep looking then...

Next purchase should be a saddle so you can at least sit astride the thing, hold the imaginary handlebars and make motorcycle sounds with your voice. I know I'd need to do that in order to make it through a build as long as this ones going to be. You get an A+ in the "ambitious endeavors" category. Oh but you'd spell it "endevours", wouldn't you

Do any of you old time racers know anything about this bike? This 1947 Norton is said to have belonged to famed Indian racer Tom Paradise, It recently sold on eBay in NC for $2400

There's something about the rearward angle on a Norton Manx pipe that just screams vintage, and specifically Norton. Love it!
See it here at 1:13 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pl6KQVq2OFw Good luck with your build, and lets go already, been 24 hours at least.
