No, the rear is 14", like the Scarabeo 300.
Still rides better then the old one IMHO, and has more underseat storage.

Just got Piaggio's EICMA preview email, here is the official word on on the BV350:

The Beverly Sport Touring will come to the U.S. as the BV350 in the spring of 2012. The BV range was introduced in 2001 and has been one of the top selling high-wheel scooters on the market.
The most notable feature of the new BV350 is an all new 350cc engine which has the power of a 400 and the compact size, weight, emissions and fuel consumption of a 300.
While the U.S. models will not have ASR or the ABS system, Piaggio USA is confident this model will succeed as it has already been garnering great reviews in the international press. Colors, pricing and final specifications will be announced closer to the U.S. introduction.

It's gonna power the new (and from the pictures - huge) Piaggio X10 without
a problem me rather thinks.. being comparable in power (and probably weight)
to the Burger/Majesty 400..

And the X10 will be available with the 500cc engine.. but found no word
if it's the same old 492cc piaggio master or a new engine.

Considering the 350's 330cc makes 33,3hp, it would be fun to get 49,2hp
out of the 500 engine..

Hope we get red or blue (I've watched some youtube videos from Italy) and the that pricing is close to the BV300- $4999.00. These are very nice scooters. I can't wait till the dealers start getting them.

The BV350 will cost some 700 euros more then the 300 here in EU, or more
or less as much as the old BV400 was.

They say we are getting the black and silver 350's in the U.S. I think that might be a mistake if they come here with the red seat and red plastic on the dash and glove compartment. Black seat and black plastic will sell here. Piaggio also makes the 350 in red and blue and both of those have black seat/plastic. Those will sell better in the U.S. than the black and silver- IMHO. I have high hopes for the 350. I WILL trade my Reflex in if we get a "normal" color combo. I'm sure Piaggio does it's market research and there wouldn't be an additional expense in bringing in what will sell. How many other bikes sold in the U.S. have a red seat?????

I saw a Moto Guzzi (Piaggio is their parent company) Breva 1100 at a dealer that had a red seat. It was a red bike too. The black seat that came on it was borrowed for a black Norge that they sold, which came from M.G. with a red seat -- they sold that bike, but the buyer wanted a black seat, so they swapped 'em. A black seat was already on order for the Breva, which, as the dealer acknowledged, look ridiculous, but looked more ridiculous with no seat at all.

Yeah there is a picture on the cover of this month's Cycle World in which the featured Guzzi has a brown seat- that bike actually looks good in my opinion. A red seat and the corresponding plastic will turn.......PINK if left in the sun too long. That's not the reason I don't like the red seat but it is something else to think about. I bought an old beat up Toyota Tercel years ago that was red but was faded to pink. I actually detailed that old thing back to red to stop the "pink" comments from friends and my brother-in-law.
