Awesome pictures. I was there for a week for a buddies wedding in 2001 but didn't get to ride. Is that Las Ramblas you're sitting at? We ate there just about everyday. Well that's it I'm going back!

Thanks. No, the picture where we were sitting is in a small town called Sant Fileu de Guixols. It is right on the beach an hour or so (?) north of Barcelona. The city pictures were all taken at or near the Plaza de Catalunya which is right on Las Ramblas. I really like the city a lot, and I hope to take a strictly-for-pleasure trip there sometime soon.

Damn! every time I start making progress on places to visit, some Jackhole puts up another post with a great ride report and a great place to visit! I just can't handle the my list anymore. I need to quit my job and just hit the road.

Good reads! I wish I had something witty to say, but the bartender here at the airport is insisting on a shot with every beer and I is all foggy now

I will be looking forward to an epic (most of) Team Blitzed report in the next couple of weeks. If only I had been invited sooner... Enjoy the new bike.

Nice report, nice roads, nice scenery although it would be a lot nicer if specific locations would be listed as to where the pics were taken.

Seems to be a weak point on a lot of touring reports.

I can send you a Garmin file for the trip I did with those two guys. IÂ´d prefer to forget the trip as the roads were awful and those two guys ride like shit, but hey I was happy on my cubist TKC 80s..

Serious: I do have the route I did with them. Course that doesnÂ´t include all those "bars" JH insisted on going to. But hey....

That has got to be my only complaint with most touring reports that I come across...a lack of photo details. Now if I didn't find the touring reports interesting, where the photo were taken wouldn't be an issue.

Good thing you were along to show them how to ride.
