As these projects seem to go, you are making remarkably fine progress.

A little progress this week...
I have made a little progress with some parts this week; one of the defining items on any bike is the tank. Especially so on the Norton Manx, or Inter, it has the loops on the top for the leather chest pad, and the cut away for the TT Amal carb, and as such are pretty scarce, and when they do come up inhibitingley expensive as you can imagine.![]() So I went to see the owner of the above bike today, to get some measurements, an check out some fittings, and mentioned in passing I would like a tank like his, so he said Ok, I will make you one ![]() ![]() Ok it will be glass fibre, but hell, how cool is that! he has the correct mould, right down to the pie crust join on the lower edge.He also sold me an old Norton oil tank, and said he will dig out some other parts for me ![]() ![]() Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving guys
